Sarah Jackson

Sarah Jackson is an experienced family solicitor and mediator specialising in the financial aspects of divorce and separation based in our Bath office. She joined Battens Solicitors in May 2026, bringing with her a wealth of expertise and a commitment to providing clear, pragmatic advice to support clients through what can often be complex and sensitive situations.

After graduating from the University of Bristol in 1994, with a degree in Law and French, Sarah went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in 1995. Since qualifying in 1998, she has practised exclusively in the area of family law.

Sarah’s expertise lies in advising on divorce settlements, cohabitation disputes and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. She works with clients across the full spectrum of circumstances, from cases involving modest assets to those with more complex financial arrangements, such as multiple properties, pensions and business interests. Her approach is focused on achieving practical and fair outcomes, tailored to each client’s individual situation.

In addition to her legal practice, Sarah is a trained family mediator, supporting clients in resolving disputes constructively and helping to minimise conflict wherever possible.

Sarah holds two Law Society accreditations: Family Law and Family Mediation, reflecting both her expertise and commitment to high professional standards.
