I joined the firm in 2008, having trained with Battens and qualified as a solicitor within the Family Team in October 2010. I was made an associate solicitor in September 2013.
I am based at the Sherborne office, although I will travel to other offices to see clients. I deal with all aspects of family law, including divorce, finances, private and public children law, cohabitation disputes and domestic violence. I am an accredited member of the Law Society's Children Panel and can represent children within family proceedings.
My expertise lies in high net worth matrimonial matters and complex care proceedings where the local authority is involved in respect of children. I will ensure that my clients are competently represented throughout. I consider myself to be robust yet approachable, always giving realistic advice.
When I am not working I sit as a trustee and director for South Somerset Citizen's Advice Bureau and on the Executive Committee for the Sherborne Chamber of Trade and Commerce. I am also actively involved within the community and regularly attend events in the area.
