Elaine Eagar

Elaine is a Paralegal working in our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team. Her role involves providing crucial support to the other fee earners in the claim in both personal injury and clinical negligence claims that they are pursuing.

Elaine originally started working for Battens Personal Injury Team (as it then was) in August 2001, advancing to heading up the Road Traffic Accident team when the Personal Injury Team split off to become Lawyers at Work Limited.

Following a period of extended maternity leave, Elaine returned to Lawyers at Work for a period, following which she joined Peter Bayliss Solicitors, a company specialising in clinical negligence claims, where she remained for 4 years, gaining during that time significant experience in clinical negligence work generally as well as in the more specific and highly contentious area of chronic pain, including CRPS.

Elaine rejoined Battens in 2021, originally as team secretary for the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team before advancing to her current role as Paralegal.
