As a Senior Associate Solicitor, Lucy advises on the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax planning, trusts and the administration of estates.

Lucy’s practical experience and knowledge means that she can help and encourage her clients to plan for the future during their lifetimes and or on death. She can support families and friends at worrying times and can help ease the stress of ill health and bereavement, by dealing with practical and financial issues in a quiet and efficient way.

Lucy joined Battens in December 2022. She trained as a solicitor in Reading, qualifying in 1999 and she relocated to the west country, to work for a law firm in Sherborne in 2005. She is a full member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers and has successfully obtained SFTE’s Older Client Care Award. She is also a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society. Lucy has developed and maintained connections with local professionals including accountants, independent financial advisers, auctioneers, undertakers and estate agents.
