Jacqui Swann

Jacqui is an Senior Associate with the firm acting for individuals and companies in all manner of property disputes. Her specialism is residential landlord and tenant law acting for either side in contentious actions such as mortgage and rental possessions, disrepair, and unlawful eviction claims. Consequently, she is a regular advocate in the county court and appears at the First Tier Tribunal and Property Chamber. Jacqui also advises and drafts business lease notices and acts in lease renewal claims. She works with the agricultural team at Battens advising in relation to issues arising out of Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies.

Jacqui has a strong and respected reputation nationwide with agents, local authorities, property developers and those with large property portfolios as well as individuals. She is renowned for her skills and expertise by other local law firms who regularly refer work to her. Jacqui is a recognised expert in her field, speaking at landlord forums and seminars and she has also written a number of articles on the ever-changing rental market.

Prior to Property Disputes, Jacqui worked in the Debt Recovery department at Battens. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and a qualified CILEX advocate.
