Battens has achieved practice rankings for Media and Entertainment law and Intellectual Property, led by Brian Levine. Brian Levine heads up a varied media and entertainment practice which advises clients across the film, TV, music and publishing sectors. He assists clients with the protection of media-related IP rights as well as their exploitation through licensing agreements.

Battens also advises on intellectual property issues in the media and entertainment space, advising on the creation and protection of IP as well as its commercialisation through licensing agreements. The team handles matters involving film, TV, photography and music. Brian Levine and Peter Livingstone jointly lead the team; Brian specialises in non-contentious media IP, while Peter focuses on litigation as well as commercial agreements.
