Oliver Thorp

Oliver deals with a wide variety of disputes and disagreements in relation to real property. These include disputes relating to property ownership, boundaries, rights of way, rights of access, rights to light and rights attached to land, for example, to do with parking.

He also handles landlord and tenant disputes, both in the commercial sphere and where the property is residential.

Oliver also helps to resolve disputes that arise in the areas of construction and property development.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2009. Before joining Battens, working for four years in a practice in Cornwall where he dealt with a wide variety of contentious cases, including property disputes.

Oliver obtained a degree in politics before studying law.
