I joined Battens in April 2015, after a decade with Ashfords culminating in a five-year stint in the Taunton office where I headed up a large Residential Team. I acted for a number of property investors with small portfolios. I have helped a number of buyers invest in the London market, whilst maintaining their South West base. With a specialisation in shared ownership properties, I also assist first-time buyers trying to get their foot on the housing ladder.
I enjoy the variety of a very mixed caseload, which includes all sorts of properties, from a studio flat to a large estate with holiday cottages, land and equestrian facilities. The majority of my client base consists of buyer and seller clients looking to move up the ladder or choosing to downsize.
I qualified in 2000 in Eastbourne after having completed my legal training at Exeter University. After a few years post qualification, gaining experience in both London and Tunbridge Wells, I decided to return to the South West.
I am married to an artist and spend time outside work travelling around the South West, either going on scenic walks to get inspiration or visiting art galleries.
