I am a family law solicitor and family mediator based at our Dorchester office. I moved to Dorset in 2000 having worked in London for several years and I have built up strong local connections since.
I provide expert advice on all aspects of family law including divorce, civil partnership, separation circumstance, financial and children matters. My particular specialism is matrimonial finances including those involving businesses, pensions, overseas assets and inheritances. I also advise on property disputes between co-owners and on the drawing up of Living Together and Pre-Marital Agreements. I act for parents in dispute over the arrangements of children, including residence and contact.
As a family law specialist with the national organisation Resolution, I work to provide clear, cost-effective advice and legal solutions to assist clients to resolve their family problems.
In addition to my legal work I am a very experienced family mediator having undertaken mediation work since 2004. I am a member of the Law Society Family Mediation Panel and an accredited mediator with the Family Mediation Council. I mediate on all family issues.
I have always done community voluntary work. I am a trustee of the Dorset Museum (the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society). I am also a trustee of the Dorchester Child Contact Centre. I worked as a governor of The Blandford School for many years until July 2021.
Out of the office I enjoy spending time with my family, travel, politics, community action and seeing live music.
