I draft wills to suit all circumstances and can advise you on the allowances and exemptions available for lifetime inheritance tax planning.

I also take instructions for both the property and financial and health and welfare lasting powers of attorney. I can provide the capacity certification and register your documents.

I register enduring powers of attorney and can make applications for someone to act as a deputy with the Court of Protection.

I have drafted a variety of declarations of trust dealing with the co-ownership of a property.

I can administer all types of estates, from intestate estates to high net worth estates and have experience in successfully applying for agricultural property and business property relief.

I joined Battens' Private Client Team in November 2002 after reading English at Southampton University.  I started my training to become a Chartered Legal Executive in 2003 and after two career breaks to have my children, I am now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives.  Meanwhile, I have also attained the foundation certificate for STEP (Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners) and completed the STEP Will Practitioners Course.  I enjoy building upon my legal knowledge and experience which enables me to deal with a wide range of matters for a diverse client base.

When not at work, I love to try out new recipes and enjoy life in the country with family and friends.
