I qualified at a City Law Firm in 2003 before joining Battens in September 2004. After a period in-house in the public sector between 2013 and 2019, I re-joined Battens in 2020 as a Senior Associate.
Having worked in the London offices of large international law firms, a medium sized City firm, a large regional firm and also in house in the public sector as Principal Property Lawyer for a local authority, I have acted for a diverse range of clients across the private, commercial, agricultural, charitable and public sectors, and have a wide range of commercial property experience encompassing freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, land adoptions, all aspects of non-contentious Landlord and Tenant work, development work (including section 106 agreements), telecommunications leases and renewable energy projects. I have also spent a period at the more academic face of law teaching property law to CILEX students.
I enjoy practising law in a challenging and varied context while acting for a wide client base; working with people to reach desired outcomes is what I enjoy most about being a solicitor.
