I am a Private Client Solicitor specialising in the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and the administration of estates.
I studied history at university, briefly taught 8/9 year olds as a primary school teacher before finally re-training to become a solicitor at the College of Law in Guildford.
I have now worked in the Dorset and Somerset area for 13 years since qualifying in 2007.
When I am asked by people what type of law I specialise in, my answer often leads them to respond that it must be “very depressing dealing with death” on a daily basis! However, I can honestly say that I really do enjoy my work and that’s largely because I feel that I am really helping my clients. I strive to guide them through what are potentially very challenging difficult and personal decisions but always and importantly in a friendly and approachable way.
Outside of law, as a dad of three I don’t have much free time but when I do I enjoy running, watching football (and most other sports!) and also coach my son’s under 8’s football team!
