Battens to Run Free Seminars for Property Owners
Do you know your obligations as a landlord? Find out how new legislation will affect your rights and responsibilities at one of two free seminars being held by one of the region's leading law firms, Battens Solicitors, next week.
The informal seminars, which will be held at 5.30pm on Tuesday 7th November at Bennett’s Water Gardens in Weymouth, and at 5.30pm on Thursday 9th November at The Gamekeeper, Charminster, are designed to help landlords and home owners with two or more properties better understand what impact changes to the law will have on them.
Other topics on the agenda for discussion include how to play it safe when considering buying a property to let; the risks of letting through Airbnb; and the dos and dont’s of disrepair claims.
Attendees, who will also enjoy a complimentary buffet, will hear from Sarah Ford, a specialist in residential property law, and Jacqui Swann, an authority on landlord and tenant law. Ceri Stephens, Director and Head of Dispute Resolution at Battens, will then open the floor to questions.
Both seminars are free, but places are limited: secure your seat now by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
