Mayor’s Confidence in Local Business Growth

Councillor Mike Jolliffe, the Mayor of Chickerell, has spoken of his confidence in the town’s future prosperity. Speaking at the Granby Business Breakfast at Bennetts Water Gardens, Councillor Joliffe said heavy investment in the area – including proposals for 340 new houses, doctors’ surgeries and schools – will bring new business opportunities and strengthen the thriving community within Chickerell and the Granby Estate.

The Mayor was addressing local professionals at Granbys Business Breakfast – an event attended by more than 20 employers from Chickerell and the surrounding areas.

Following the success of the event, the next Granby Business Breakfast includes an open floor legal Q&A session at Bennetts Water Gardens, 7am on 28th July.  We are inviting local businesses to pose their legal questions to a panel of four solicitors. Questions can cover anything from company commercial and commercial property law, dispute resolution and employment issues.

Tickets cost £8 and include a continental breakfast. To book your place and to add your question to the list, contact Sophie Knapman on 01935 846000 or email her on Sophie.knapman@battens.co.uk.
