Magnificent Seven are Tower of Strength
Daredevils from Battens Solicitors took a leap of faith for vulnerable children with an extreme abseil in Dorchester.
The seven-strong team raised £755 in aid of Action for Children when they tackled ‘The Tower’ at Poundbury.
They had to dodge smoke bombs and water jets while plunging 70ft in the extreme abseil at Dorchester’s fire station.
Sarah Ford, Associate Solicitor in Battens’ Dorchester office, said: “It was great fun although a little daunting to start with.
“Our deepest thanks to all who gave sponsorship to help us reach such a super total.”
The ‘magnificent seven’ team from Battens were Georgina Bacon, Cate Barnes, Sarah Ford, Joanna Packer, Emily Davies, Laura Cooke, Nicola Pugsley.
Action for Children helps vulnerable children and young people through services in the community, including support for new parents, young carers, disabled youngsters and their families, and those in care.
