Dental Negligence Claims
Good dental care, provided by dentists and dental hygienists, can have a hugely positive impact on life in ensuring attractive cosmetic and visual appearance, preventing pain, making sure that the patient has a good set of well-functioning teeth, and even supporting a good level of overall physical health for the patient.
Unfortunately, not all dental care is of the right standard. Inadequate treatment can result in avoidable gum disease and excessive decay, both of which may require extensive corrective procedures or loss of teeth. Negligent or substandard procedures can cause extensive damage to the mouth. Injury to a nerve can for example lead to life-long difficulties. At other times, dental work is carried out so inexpertly that the patient is then condemned to undergo extensive remedial treatment.
