  Stuart joined Battens in 1984 from one of the leading firms in Bristol.

  At Battens, he has focused on private client work, with a particular emphasis on tax issues. He became a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1995 and now specialises in problem estates, wills and trust work, and resolving related inheritance and capital gains tax issues. He leads the Private Client Team.
