  Sarah joined Battens in 2000 as a legal secretary in the Employment Team. Within a year Sarah was offered the opportunity to train as a Legal Executive. Sarah has since undertaken her studying part time, whilst working full time.

  In April 2005, Sarah joined the firm's Property Litigation team where she regularly advises commercial clients on business lease renewals and residential landlords and tenants on possession proceedings, as well as advising on general property disputes such as squatter proceedings and boundary disputes.

  Sarah also has experience in advising both mortgagors and mortgagees in relation to mortgage problems and particularly in respect of repossession proceedings.

  Sarah can prepare Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements for private landlords or supply a service to check agreements for tenants where independent advice is required.

  Sarah can also assist in the recovery of rent arrears for both private and commercial landlords.
