  Ray has been with Battens since qualifying and has developed particular expertise in all aspects of the Commercial and Commercial Property sectors. Ray has over 35 years experience of providing pro-active commercial advice to a wide range of businesses in both the public and private sectors as well as within the agricultural sector.

  He has acted for such clients as the Burmah Castrol Group, Westland Helicopters, Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, various public sector organisations and many smaller businesses and licensed premises.

  He is a past President of the Somerset Law Society and has acted as Chairman to the Legal Services Commission's Funding Review.
