  Karen heads the Tax Compliance Team and has wide experience in income tax and capital gains tax for individuals and trusts. Karen has extensive knowledge of the Self Assessment tax system and in particular the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns.

  She is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and has 21years experience working in taxation.

  Before joining Battens, Karen worked for H M Revenue and Customs, accountants Baker Tilly and Church House Private Bank.
