  David is a nationally acclaimed expert in planning. He joined Battens in 1988, after a career in Local Government, and was appointed Managing Director in 2004.

  He has extensive experience of Planning and Environmental matters, representing business and private clients, as well as local authorities and other public bodies.

  A member of the Law Society's specialist Planning Panel, a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and a respected advocate at planning and local plan inquiries, David has over 30 years planning experience in both public and private sectors.
