Relief From Tax Headaches

Tax returns can become an annual headache that many people just put off until it is too late. Did you know that Battens offers a tax return service that does all the hard work for you?

This year, a new penalty regime came into force, meaning people have to pay heavy fines - starting from £100 - if they miss the deadline for filing a return. And, for the first time, even if you do not owe any tax or if you pay your tax liability in full by 31 January, you can be penalised if your Self Assessment tax return isn't filed on time. Daily penalties of £10 will also take effect if the tax return is still outstanding three months after the filing date.

The October deadline for sending back paper tax returns has now passed. But don't panic Battens can help, by filing your tax return online for you. Online tax returns for 2010/11 have to reach Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) by 31 January 2012, and we can make the whole process easy and painless.
