Protecting Your Children's Inheritance

Nowadays, it is all too easy to find a will writing company to prepare a will for you at a bargain price. However, as has been shown in various television and radio programmes of late, there are often hidden costs.

For example, you may be charged a storage fee which may over the years amount to hundreds of pounds; a will writing company may put additional pressure on you to appoint it to act as your Executor, escalating the overall cost to a significant percentage of your estate and if you are not happy with the service, it can be nigh on impossible to claim your money back.

Appointing a solicitors' firm to prepare your will is far safer. Solicitors are required to complete years of training so that you can be sure that the person assisting you is able to discuss your requirements knowledgeably and we are regulated by the Law Society. Accordingly, should you not be happy with the service you have been offered, there is always a mechanism to complain. In addition, we are fully insured unlike many will writing companies and there is a compensation fund available if anything does go wrong.
