Employment Specialist Joins Battens

Battens has appointed a leading employment law specialist to head up its Employment Team. Dawn Gallie moves from Devon based firm Stones, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the employment sector, having worked with and advised businesses and HR Managers, both regionally and nationally.

Dawn provides HR advice, in depth policies and procedures advice, as well as strong representation in defending claims at the Employment Tribunal.

Dawn is highly regarded and is known for her pragmatic approach in assisting businesses on the minefield that is employment law. Dawn says, "I am extremely happy to have joined such a progressive and dynamic firm as Battens, which is very community conscious. In this difficult economy, I look forward to working with clients, both old and new, in providing a complete, cost effective Employment service. A member of the Employment Lawyers Association, Dawn also writes and presents training sessions and seminars and will carry on doing this, initially, by continuing the very successful Eat lunch@ Battens meetings and full seminars on topical employment issues, to follow in the Autumn.
