Becoming involved in litigation and instructing a lawyer to help can be an alarming prospect. Whilst some businesses, for example insurance companies, engage in disputes for a living, for most it is an event which comes up only from time to time. On those occasions, if it cannot be avoided altogether,.it must be handled properly and effectively.
When your turn comes around, what is the best way to handle it? Litigation can be a mortal threat to many businesses, not least because of its cost. In this series of seminars we explore ways in which litigation can be funded in a way which manages or even removes the financial risk, so that the expense can in some circumstances be taken off balance sheet altogether.
We will also be looking at the anatomy of a typical case, looking at how it generally unfolds, and charting the course that you may expect to follow if you decide to take the plunge or indeed are dragged into the Court process. Our speakers for the evening will be:
