Battens Ranked As One Of Region’s Top Law Firms

A prestigious global guide has named Battens Solicitors as one of the best legal firms in the South West.

The Legal 500, which covers over 100 countries, singles out six specialist teams working across Battens’ offices in Sherborne, Dorchester, Weymouth and Yeovil as ranking among the UK's top practitioners in their specialist fields.

The annual Legal 500 publication for the South West recommends the work of Battens’ Employment, Agriculture, Planning, Property Litigation and Commercial Property Teams, as well as its Family division.

This year's edition also praises the work of six individual lawyers at Battens including directors James Owen in the Agriculture Team and Leanne Weatherill in the Family Team.

Rupert Vaughan, who is a director of Battens’ Commercial Property Team, is ranked as 'very good'.
